Risk Study on a Buddha Footprint Tug of war Festival

Abstract

การศึกษาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก เพื่อศึกษาความเสี่ยงของงานประเพณีชัก พระบาทที่ ต.ตะปอน อ.ขลุง จ.จันทบุรี และเสนอแนะเป็นมาตรการด้านความปลอดภัย รูปแบบของการศึกษาเป็นการสำรวจ โดยสัมภาษณ์ผู้รับผิดชอบกิจกรรมและนำข้อมูลมา วิเคราะห์หาอันตรายที่อาจจะส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพ ตามเทคนิคการวิเคราะห์งานเพื่อ ความปลอดภัย โดยทำการศึกษาขั้นตอนของการดำเนินประเพณีชักพระบาท ผลการศึกษา พบว่าบางขั้นตอนมีจุดที่เป็นความเสี่ยงที่อาจก่อให้เกิดอันตรายต่อผู้ร่วมกิจกรรม เช่น ในด้านของสนามแข่ง การแต่งกายของผู้เข้าแข่งขัน เชือกที่ใช้ในการชักเย่อและท่าทางที่ใช้ในการแข่งขัน ผู้ศึกษาจึงมีข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับผู้ดำเนินงานให้จัดการความเสี่ยงดังกล่าว เช่น การตรวจสอบการตกค้างของสิ่งแปลกปลอมก่อนทำการแข่งขัน การกำหนดชุดแต่งกายให้รัดกุม การทำปมของเชือกชักเย่อเพื่อลดการเสียดสีและการฝึกซ้อมท่าทางในการชักเย่อ และการอบอุ่นร่างกายก่อนทำการแข่งขัน เพื่อให้เกิดการสืบสานประเพณีชักพระบาทอย่าง ยั่งยืนและปลอดภัยตลอดไป  This main objective of this paper is to assess accident risk of the defined activities at the Buddha footprint tug of war festival in Tabon sub-district, Klung district, Chantaburi province. The study was surveyed by responsibility people interviewing and analyzed potential health hazards. The results showed that some of the procedures were the risks that may causes harm to participants such as the place of competition, the contender's dresses, the rope and the posture of contenders. Finally I recommended to the municipal officers who planned the event to provide safety the spectators and the participants like, monitor the residues of foreign matter in the field before, dress of the costume to be cautious, make the crux of the rope for reducing friction and do training the war posture and wrap up before competition so that the festival can be safer for the public.
