Increasing of Science Learning Achievement, Seiencetific Process Skills and Attitude to Wards Science Using Project-Based Activities on the Topic “Local Toys of Prathomsuksa 5 Students

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ ทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ และเจตคติต่อวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยใช้กิจกรรมโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่องของเล่นพื้นบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนที่กำลังเรียนชั้นประถม ศึกษาปีที่ 5 ของโรงเรียนบ้านสมเด็จเจ้าพระยาอุปถัมภ์ อำเภอสอยดาว จังหวัดจันทบุรี ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการ ศึกษา 2551 จำนวน 27 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กิจกรรมโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ แบบทดสอบวัดทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ แบบสอบถามวัดเจตคติ ต่อวิทยาศาสตร์ แล้ววิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพื้นฐาน ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบที ผลจากการวิจัยพบว่า 1. คะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์โดยใช้กิจกรรมโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ของเล่นพื้นบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เพิ่มสูงขึ้นกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 2. คะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์โดยใช้กิจกรรมโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่องของเล่นพื้นบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เพิ่มสูงขึ้นกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3. เจตคติต่อวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยใช้กิจกรรมโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่องของเล่นพื้นบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อยู่ในระดับมากและคะแนนเจตคติต่อวิทยาศาสตร์หลังเรียนเพิ่มสูงขึ้นกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01  The purposes of research were to increase science learning achievement, scientific process skill and attitude towards science using project - based activites on the topic “Local Toys” of Prathomsuksa V students. The sample was 27 Prathomsuksa V students studying during the 1st semester of the 2008 academic year at Bansomdetjaoprayauppatum School, Soidao district, Chanthaburi province using purposive sampling technique. The research tools were lesson plans using project-based activites, the science learning achievement test, the science process skills test and the attitude towards science questionnaires. Data were statistically analyzed by using arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the t-test for dependent samples.  The findings of this research were as follows:  1. The science learning achievement score of students after teaching by using project – based activites on the topic “Local Toys” was significantly higher increase than the specified criteria at the.01 level.  2. The science process skills score of students after teaching by using project – based activites on the topic “Local Toys” was significantly higher increase than the specified criteria at the .01 level.  3. The attitude towards science score of students taught by using project – based activites on the topic "Local Toys” was at high level. The attitude after teaching by using project – based activites was significantly higher increase than that before teaching at the .01 level.
