Radiodiagnosis of Urogenital Tuberculosis

Abstract

วัณโรคในทางเดินปัสสาวะและอวัยวะสืบพันธุ์ พบได้ เนื่องจากการแพร่กระจายของเชื้อจากปอดมาทาง กระแสเลือด ในสมัยก่อนมีการระบาดของเชื้อเอชไอวี การติดเชื้อวัณโรคนอกปอดพบประมาณร้อยละ ๑๕ ในปัจจุบันตรวจพบการติดเชื้อวัณโรคนอกปอดมากขึ้น ตำแหน่งที่พบบ่อยคือวัณโรคในทางเดินปัสสาวะและอวัยวะสืบพันธุ์  Tuberculosis of the urogenital organs is caused by hematogenous spread from active disease else-where, primary or postprimary focus, and only occasionally by reinfection. This article is aimed at being a refresher course for clinicians as well as radiologists who are going to encounter more frequent incidence of extrapulmonary tuberculosis that accompanies HIV infection.
