สถานภาพและบทบาทตัวละครพิการในนวนิยายร่วมสมัย: ภาพสะท้อนสถานภาพคนพิการในสังคมไทย

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ         กาวิจัยครั้งนี้วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาให้ทราบสถานภาพและบทบาทของตัวละครที่เป็นคนพิการในนวนิยายร่วมสมัยที่มีเนื้อเรื่องเกี่ยวข้องกับคนพิการทั้ง 9 ประเภท และเพื่อศึกษาประสงการณ์ และแนวคิดของผู้เขียนนวนิยายร่วมสมัยในการสร้างบทบาทของตัวละครที่เป็นคนพิการ โดยระเบียบวิธีวิจัยที่นำมาใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ การวิจัยเอกสารแลละการสัมภาษณ์ ซึ่งมีนวนิยายจำนวน 14 เรื่อง พิมพ์เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2533-2553 เนื่องจากผู้วิจัยเป็นผู้พิการทางสายตา การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจึงใช้วีธีการวิเคราะห์ด้วยการฟังอย่างลึกซึ้ง (Deep Listening Coding) ประกอบการวิเคราะห์ด้วยมือ และการใช้เครื่องมือเดซี่สำหรับผู้พิการทางการเห็น จาการวิเคราะห์การวิจัยเอกสาร พบว่า ตัวละครพิการประเภทต่างๆ มีสถานภาพและบทบาทแตกต่างกันไปทั้งตัวละครพิการที่มีสถานภาพความพิการโดยกำเนิด และผู้มีสถานภาพความพิการภายหลัง และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อสถานภาพและบทบาทของตัวละครพิการ ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นสถานภาพของคนพิการที่เป็นจริงในสังคมไทยว่า มีสถานภาพแตกต่างกันไป การวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่ได้จากผลการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้เขียนนวนิยายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับคนพิการ จำนวน 6 คน พบว่า ผู้เขียนมีจุดมุ่งหมายในการเขียนนวนิยายเพื่อสร้างกำลังใจให้แก่ผู้อ่านและคนพิการ และตั้งคำถามกับสังคมผู้ให้ข้อมูลให้ทัศนะว่าสถานะภาพและบทบาทของคนพิการดรกว่าในอดีตแต่ก็ยังมีคนพิการอีกจำนวนหนึ่งที่ยังขาดการได้รับโอกาสจากสังคมสถาบันครอบครัวและสถาบันการศึกษา จัดเป็นสถาบันทางสังคมที่มีความสำคัญต่อคนพิการ ในการให้โอกาสทางสังคมของคนพิการ และรัฐบาลควรสนับสนุนสวัสดิการสำหรับคนพิการในทุกๆด้าน ด้านอย่างทั่วถึงและเหมาะสม ABSTRACT          This research aims to investigate status and roles of handicap actor in contemporary novel that related to nine types of handicap and describe an experience of contemporary  authors towards role of handicap actors. The documentary research and interviewing was applied. There were fourteen contemporary novels that published during 1991-2010. According to vision condition as the researcher is a blind, the data was analyzed by Deep Listening Coding (DLC), manual coding, and digital accessible information system (DAISY). The finding found that each type of handicap actors had different status and roles both who are born disabled and disable after birth and factors effect status and roles of handicap actors which reflect the fact of different handicap status in Thai society. In term of interviewing from 6 contemporary authors, the results showed that the author’s objective was to encourage readers and handicap and questioning to society. The author express their attitude that status and roles of handicap were better than in the past, however, there are still many handicap who lack of opportunity. Family and education were important social organizations to handicap. The opportunities from society are extremely important for handicap Government should support the welfare of disabled persons in all aspects thoroughly and properly.
