การสร้างสรรค์อนุภาคความวิเศษในนวนิยาย มหัศจรรย์เรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด The Creation of Magic Motif in Fantasy Novel the White Road

Abstract

บทคัดย่องานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเอกสาร มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสร้างสรรค์อนุภาคความวิเศษในนวนิยายมหัศจรรย์เรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด จำนวน 11 เล่ม และเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ผลการวิจัยมีดังนี้ เรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด มีอนุภาคความวิเศษ 162 ชนิด จำแนกเป็นของวิเศษ 113 ชนิด และอำนาจวิเศษ 49 ชนิด รวมจำนวนอนุภาคทั้งสิ้น 1,386 อนุภาค เมื่อเปรียบเทียบอนุภาคความวิเศษกับดัชนีอนุภาคนิทานพื้นบ้านของสติธ ทอมป์สัน พบว่า มีอนุภาคของวิเศษที่ปรากฏตรงกัน จำนวน 53 อนุภาค และที่ปรากฏเฉพาะในเรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด จำนวน 60 อนุภาค อนุภาคอำนาจวิเศษปรากฏตรงกัน จำนวน 42 อนุภาค และที่ปรากฏเฉพาะในเรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด จำนวน 7 อนุภาคการสร้างสรรค์อนุภาคความวิเศษในเรื่อง เดอะไวท์โรด ได้แก่ การสร้างสรรค์ที่มาของอนุภาคความวิเศษ พบ 4 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ การสร้างสรรค์อนุภาคโดยดัดแปลงจากนิทานมหัศจรรย์ เกมนิทานสวมบทบาท ความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยีและจินตนาการ การนำเสนออนุภาคความวิเศษ พบ 6 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ การใช้ภาษาสื่อจินตภาพ การใช้ความเปรียบ หรือภาพพจน์ การใช้คำทับศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ การใช้คำที่มีความหมายไม่ตรงตามพจนานุกรม การใช้ภาษาบรรยาย และการใช้ภาษาอธิบาย บทบาทของอนุภาคความวิเศษ พบ 2 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ เพื่อใช้ดำเนินเรื่อง และเพื่อใช้ประกอบเรื่อง การสร้างสรรค์อนุภาคความวิเศษดังกล่าว ทำให้เรื่องเดอะไวท์โรด ประสบความสำเร็จในฐานะของนวนิยายมหัศจรรย์AbstractThis documentary research aims to study the creation of magic motif in 11 volumes of a fantasy novel,The White Road and the findings are presented in descriptive form. From the study, there are altogether 1,386 motifs found in the story. Within this amount, it can be divided into 162 categories: 113 magic objects and 49 magic powers. When compared those motifs found in the story to those specified in Stith Thompson’s Motif-Index of Folk Literature, there are 53 shared magic objects and 60 shared magic powers; meanwhile, there are 42 magic objects and 7 magic powers are found only in The White Road. The creation of magic motif in The White Road, For the creation of idea, 4 types are found: 1. characteristics of fairy tale, 2. role playing game (RPG), 3. technology advancement, and 4. imaginery. For the presentation, 6 types are found: 1. presentation of magic objects and supernatural powers through imagery, 2. figure of speech, 3. transliteration, 4. own words, 5. narration, and 6. explanation. For the role of motifs, 2 types are found: 1. used as a presentation of fantasy novel, and 2. used as the scenes of the fiction. The creation of magic motif makes The White Road a successful fantasy novel.
