การสำรวจงานวิจัยที่เกียวกับคำยืมภาษาบาลีสันสกฤต The Survey of Research Works on Pali-Sanskrit Loanwords

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอผลการสำรวจงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวกับคำยืมภาษาบาลีสันสกฤต ผลการศึกษาพบว่าสามารถแบ่งงานวิจัยได้เป็น 2 กลุ่ม คืองานวิจัยที่ศึกษาเฉพาะคำยืมภาษาบาลีสันสกฤต และงานวิจัยที่ศึกษาคำยืมซึ่งจะมีการศึกษาคำยืมภาษาบาลีและสันสกฤตอยู่ด้วย จากการศึกษางานวิจัยทั้งสองกลุ่มพบว่าลักษณะของข้อมูลที่ใช้ในศึกษาแบ่งออกเป็น ข้อมูลจากพจนานุกรม หนังสือแบบเรียนภาษาไทย ตำรา วรรณกรรม วรรณคดี และจารึกสมัยต่าง ๆ ขอบเขตของเนื้อหาพบการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับที่มาของคำ การจัดหมวดหมู่คำตามที่มาของคำ การเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปคำ การเปลี่ยนแปลงเสียง การเปลี่ยนแปลงความหมาย การสร้างกรอบความคิดในการศึกษานำมาจากคำอธิบายของนักวิชาการที่เกี่ยวกับภาษาและไวยากรณ์ไทย ภาษาและไวยากรณ์บาลีและสันสกฤต ภาษาศาสตร์ เช่น ระบบเสียงภาษาไทย ระบบเสียงภาษาบาลีและสันสกฤต การเปลี่ยนแปลงเสียง การเปลี่ยนแปลงความหมาย การเปลี่ยนแปลงของคำยืม แหล่งอ้างอิงที่สำคัญที่สุดของงานวิจัยภาษาบาลีและสันสกฤตในภาษาไทย คือ พจนานุกรมไทย พจนานุกรมบาลีและพจนานุกรมสันสกฤตThis research aims to present the result of surveying the research works which studied Pali and Sanskrit loanwords. There are two groups of research works, i.e. the research works which studied loanwords which were either Pali or Sanskrit and the research works which studied the loanwords including both Pali and Sanskrit.                                  From the study of two types of research works, it was found that the studied data were found in Thai dictionaries, Thai language school textbooks, literature and inscriptions of the various periods. To the scopes of the studied subject matters, they were divided into the study of word origin, the classification of word groups based on word origin, the change of word forms, the change of word sounds, the change of word meanings.                                                                          The concepts of the studies were taken from the explanation concerning scholars’ explanation of Thai language and its grammar; Pali and Sanskrit languages and their grammar; linguistics such as sound system of Thai language, sound system of Pali and Sanskrit languages, the change of sounds, the change of meanings and the change of loanwords. Thai dictionary, Pali dictionary and Sanskrit dictionary were the most important references of the research works on Pali and Sanskrit in Thai language.
