Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (๑) ศึกษาสภาพการใช้บริการสารสนเทศของห้องสมุดกระทรวงยุติธรรม (๒) ศึกษาความต้องการสารสนเทศของบุคลากรในกระทรวงยุติธรรม (๓) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของบุคลากรในกระทรวงยุติธรรมต่อการให้บริการสารสนเทศของห้องสมุดกระทรวงยุติธรรม (๔) เปรียบเทียบความต้องการสารสนเทศของบุคลากรในกระทรวงยุติธรรมจำแนกตามตำแหน่งงานโดยมีสมมุติฐาน คือ บุคลากรในกระทรวงยุติธรรมตำแหน่งงานต่างกันมีความต้องการสารสนเทศแตกต่างกัน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ บุคลากรในกระทรวงยุติธรรม จำนวน ๓๑๒ คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สรุปผลการวิจัยได้ ดังนี้ บุคลากรส่วนใหญ่ใช้บริการปีละ ๑-๔ ครั้ง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มพูนความรู้ โดยวิธีการค้นหาสารสนเทศใช้การสอบถามเจ้าหน้าที่ บุคลากรมีความต้องการสารสนเทศและความพึงพอใจต่อการให้บริการสารสนเทศในภาพรวมระดับปานกลาง สิ่งพิมพ์ต้องการหนังสือและตำราทางกระบวนการยุติธรรมมากที่สุด ส่วนข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์มีความต้องการฐานข้อมูล Lexis (ฐานข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ทางกฎหมาย) มากที่สุด มีความต้องการสารสนเทศภาษาไทยและสารสนเทศที่เกิดขึ้นไม่เกิน ๑ ปีมากที่สุดผลการเปรียบเทียบความต้องการสารสนเทศจำแนกตามตำแหน่งงานพบว่า บุคลากรที่มีตำแหน่งงานแตกต่างกันมีความต้องการสารสนเทศทั้งในประเภท ภาษา และความทันสมัยของสารสนเทศแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .๐๕ ซึ่งเป็นไปตามสมมุติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ ยกเว้นสารสนเทศประเภทหนังสือพิมพ์ที่มีความต้องการต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ  The aims of this study were: (1) to study the state of the use of information services provided by the Ministry of Justice Library, (2) to study information needs of personnel of the Ministry of Justice, (3) to study satisfaction of personnel of the Ministry of Justice on information services provided by the Ministry of Justice Library and (4) to compare information needs of personnel of the Ministry of Justice classified by their positions. The hypothesis of this study was that personnel from different positions had different information needs. A research tool used in this study was a questionnaire collecting data from a sample group, total 312 participants from personnel of the Ministry of Justice. Percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA were used to perform data analysis. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: 1. The majority of personnel used the library service 1-4 times They used the library service with the aim of accumulating knowledge. A circulation service was most frequently used. Most of the uses asked the asked librarian about the ways of searching information. For information need, the majority of personnel had the formation needed at a modevate level. As for printer materials, they needed legal books and textbooks the most. As for digital information, they needed Lexis database (legal database) the most. As for preference of languages of information. The result of hypothesis testing was that personnel of the Ministry of Justice from different positions had different information needs on types, languages and currentness at a significant statistic level, .05, in all mentioned aspects except for newspapers. This was thus in line with the hypothesis.
