The reading of Kanji compounds

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อที่จะศึกษาวิธีการอ่านของคันจิแต่ละตัวว่าเมื่ออยู่ในรูปคำประสมจะมีวิธีการอ่านกี่แบบ ในภาพรวมของคำประสมคันจิ ๒ ตัว มีสัดส่วนเป็นอย่างไรในรูปแบบการอ่านที่พบทั้งหมด ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการอ่านอักษรคันจิมีการอ่านออกเสียงได้ ๔ รูปแบบคือการอ่านด้วยเสียง “อน” เสียง “คุน” เสียงประสมระหว่างเสียง “อน” กับเสียง “คุน” และเสียงประสมระหว่างเสียง “คุน” กับเสียง “อน” การอ่านคันจิประสมส่วนใหญ่จะใช้การอ่านด้วยเสียง “อน” เป็นหลักเพราะพบว่ามีจำนวนมากที่สุดถึง ๙๗.๔% ในขณะที่การอ่านแบบที่ใช้เสียง “คุน” ก็มีจำนวนถึง ๔๖.๗% การอ่านด้วยเสียงประสมระหว่างเสียง “อน” และเสียง “คุน” มีจำรวน ๑๑.๒% - ๑๒.๐%  This research was aimed firstly to examine how many reading patterns of Kanji compounds exist; and secondly, to numerate the proportion of each reading pattern found in two – Kanji compounds. It was found that there were four reading patterns of Kanji compounds: “on”, “Kun”, “on” and “kun” combined, and “kun” and “on” combined. Among these four patterns, “on” was the most frequent pronunciation pattern for reading Kanji compounds rated 97.4% followed by “kun” rated 46.7% The pronunciations of “on” and “kun” combined and “kun” and “on” combined were rated 11.2%-12.0% which were not significantly different.
