Predictors of Self Transcendence in Person with HIV Infected

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทดสอบอิทธิพลของอายุ รายได้ ระยะเวลาที่ทราบว่าติดเชื้อเอดส์ ความหวังและความรู้สึกอ้างว้าง ต่อภาวะเหนือตนเอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ติดเชื้อเอดส์ที่มารับการรักษาที่คลินิกอิมมูน ตึกผู้ป่วยนอกโรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ จำนวน 100 ราย การเก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์หรือตอบ  แบบสอบถามเครื่องมือวิจัย ประกอบด้วยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบวัดความหวังของเฮิร์ธ แบบวัดความรู้สึกอ้างว้างของยูซีแอลเอ และแบบวัดภาวะเหนือตนเองของรีด การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุแบบขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความหวัง ความรู้สึกอ้างว้าง และรายได้มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับภาวะเหนือตนเองr (r = .557, p < .001 : r = 553, p < .001, r = .303, p < .01 : ตามลำดับ) และสามารถทำนายภาวะเหนือตนเองได้ ร้อยละ 31.1, 15.9 และ 3.1 ตามลำดับ ทั้งความหวัง ความรู้สึกอ้างว้างและรายได้ร่วมทำนายภาวะเหนือตนเองได้ ร้อยละ 50.3 ผลการวิจัยให้ข้อเสนอแนะพยาบาลในการส่งเสริมภาวะ เหนือตนเองโดยเสริมสร้างความหวังตามความเป็นจริง ประเมินภาวะอ้างว้างและให้คำแนะนำให้เหมาะสมโดยเฉพาะผู้ติดเชื้อเอดส์ ที่มีเศรษฐานะไม่ดี  The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of age, income, duration on knowing HIV infected, hope, and loneliness on self-transcendence. One hundred persons with HIV infected were recruited from Immune Clinic, Out-Patient Department of Chulalongkorn Hospital. The research instruments were personal data Herth Hope Index, UCLA Loneliness Scale, and Reed Self-Transcendence Scale. Data were analyzed by stepwise multiple regression, Results indicated that hope, loneliness and income were positively  significant related to self-transcendence (r = .557, p < .001 : r = 553, p < .001, r = .303, p < .01 respectively) and could explained 31.1 % , 15.9% and 3.1 % respectively of total variance of self-transcendence. Hope, loneliness, and income could explain 50.3 % of total variance of self-transcendence. Findings Suggest nurses taking care of person with HIV infected need to enhance self-transcendence role by promoting realistic hope and concerning loneliness especially in low income group.
