Abstract

          การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยายเพื่อศึกษาติดตามผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต ฉบับปรับปรุง พ.ศ.2548 คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ วิทยาลัยเซนต์หลุยส์ ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาปีการศึกษา 2551 เกี่ยวกับการรับรู้และความพึงพอใจในสมรรถนะทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงภคคภ์ของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาและผู้บังคับบัญชา กลุ่มตัวอย่างการวิจัยคือ ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต (4 ปี) จากวิทยาลัยเซนต์หลุยห์ ปีการศึกษา 2551 จำนวน 115 คน และผู้บังคับบัญชาระดับต้นของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจำนวน 80 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยแบ่งเป็นแบบสอบถาม 2 ชุด ชุดที่ 1 แบบสอบถามผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา ประกอบด้วย (1) ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (2) แบบสอบถามการรับรู้และความพึงพอใจต่อสมรรถนะทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ของตนเอง มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามเท่ากับ .98 และ .97 ตามลำดับ และ (3) แบบสอบถามความคิดและข้อเสนอแนะ ชุดที่ 2 แบบสอบถามผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา ประกอบด้วย (1) ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (2) แบบสอบถามการรับรู้และความพึงพอใจต่อสมรรถนะทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา และ (3) ความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณาและรวบรวม สรุปเนื้อหาโดยรวม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ เริ่มปฏิบัติงานภายหลังสำเร็จการศึกษาแล้ว 2 เดือน ทำงานในโรงพยาบาลเอกชน มีรายได้เฉลี่ย 17,454.37 บาทต่อเดือน สามารถสอบขึ้นทะเบียนเพื่อรับใบอนุญาตประกอบวิชาชีพการพยาบาลและผดุงครรภ์ชั้นหนึ่ง ผ่านครบทุกวิชาในการสอบครั้งแรกมีเพียงร้อยละ 22.8 ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษารับรู้สมรรถนะทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ของตนเองโดยรวมมีค่าเฉลี่ยในระดับสูง (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 3.68, S.D. = .48) แต่การรับรู้ของผู้บังคับบัญชามีค่าเฉลี่ยในระดับปานกลาง (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 3.53, S.D. = .12) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยแล้วพบว่า ไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษามีความพึงพอใจในสมรรถนะทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ของตนเอง มีค่าเฉลี่ยในระดับสูง (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 3.72, S.D. = .49) แต่ผู้บังคับบัญชามีความพึงพอใจในระดับปานกลาง (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 3.54, S.D. = .13) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยแล้วพบว่า ไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเช่นกัน  จากผลการวิจัยข้างต้น วิทยาลัยเซนต์หลุยส์ควรเร่งพัฒนาสมรรถนะทางพยาบาลของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา โดยเพิ่มรายวิชาและหน่วยกิตให้มากขึ้นเพื่อให้นักศึกษามีชั่วโมงเรียนทฤษฎีและฝึกปฏิบัติมากขึ้น รวมทั้งเพิ่มแหล่งฝึกให้หลากหลาย ควรจัดการเรียนการสอนภาคทฤษฎีที่เน้นการค้นคว้าด้วยตนเองของนักศึกษา ฝึกการแก้ไขปัญหาและความเป็นผู้นำ เพื่อให้ได้บัณฑิตพยาบาลที่มีคุณภาพและมีคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของสังคม This descriptive research aimed to follow-up graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program from Saint Louis College on the following matters: graduates' employments, licensing exam results, and satisfaction on graduates' competencies in nursing and midwifery perceived by the graduates and their employers. The sample consisted of 115 nursing bachelor's degree graduates in the 2008 academic year and 80 graduates' employers. Two questionnaires were employed for collecting data. The graduates' questionnaire (with its reliability of .98 and .97 respectively) consisted of personal data, graduates' perception and satisfaction on their own competencies, and an open ended question for opinions and suggestions. The employers' questionnaire consisted of personal data, employers' perception and satisfaction on graduates' competencies, and an open ended question for opinions and suggestions. Descriptive statistics were used for analyzing quantitative data and conclusion was done for data gathered from open ended questions. The findings revealed that the majority of graduates were employed in private hospitals 2 months after graduation and earned average monthly salary of 17,454.37 baht. There were 22.8 percent of graduates who obtained the first class license of nursing and midwifery in their first examination (passed all subjects). The level of nursing competencies as a whole assessed by the graduates was relatively high (3.68 ± .48). while those assessed by their employers were relatively moderate (average = 3.53, S.D. = .12). This difference, however, was not statistically significant. The graduates were satisfied with their own competencies at relatively high level (average = 3.72, S.D. = .49), while their employers were satisfied with the graduates' competencies at relatively moderate level (average = 3.54, S.D. = .13). This difference, however, was also not statistically significant.  The results suggested that Saint Louis College should urgently develop nursing competence of its own graduates. Both theoretical and practical courses and credits should be added up. The practical settings should be variously increased. The provision of theoretical learning and teaching should be emphasized on students inquiry, as well as skills in problem solving and leading, in order to achieve quality outcomes and meet social expectation.
