Teaching-learning model development for advanced community nursing practice by integrated method emphasizing student centered learning

Abstract

          การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบ การใช้วิธีการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาทักษะการปฏิบัติงานในชุมชน การปฏิบัติงานบนพื้นฐานชุมชน และเพื่อให้เกิดการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษา หลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต จํานวน 8 คน ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนในรายวิชา 101547 ปฏิบัติการพยาบาลชุมชนขั้นสูง นักวิจัยเป็นผู้สอน เจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุขที่รับผิดชอบในพื้นที่และประชาชนในพื้นที่ เป็นผู้ร่วมสอนและเป็นผู้มีส่วนได้เสียกับการ ปฏิบัติงานของผู้เรียน สถานที่เรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งหนึ่งประกอบด้วยบ้านเรือนประมาณ 70 หลังคาเรือน ประชาชน 299 คน ระยะเวลาเรียน 1 ภาคเรียน ในภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2547 ตั้งแต่เดือน พฤศจิกายน 2547 ถึง เดือนมีนาคม 2548 การสรุปผลการเรียนใช้วิธีการบันทึกเป็นแผนที่จินตภาพ (mind map) ทําการเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้เรียน จากประชาชน เจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุข และผู้สอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นสังเกต สัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถาม เก็บข้อมูลแบบมีส่วนร่วมโดยผู้วิจัยทําการตรวจสอบ ความถูกต้องของข้อมูลจากแหล่งต่างๆ ร่วมกันทําการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) เปรียบเทียบการเปลี่ยนแปลงของความคิดเห็นต่อการ เรียนการสอนของผู้เรียนก่อนและหลังการเรียนด้วย การทดสอบวิลคอกสัน (Wilcoxon's sign ranks test) ได้ผลดังนี้  1. กระบวนการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนแบบบูรณาการ สรุปได้จากการวิจัยเป็นวงจรที่สําคัญของการวางแผน การดําเนินงาน การประเมินผล และการสะท้อนความคิด จํานวน 3 วงจร คือ วงจรที่ 1 เรียนรู้รูปแบบการเรียนการสอน วงจรที่ 2 ระยะการพัฒนาตนในทักษะการเข้าถึงชุมชนและการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน วงจรที่ 3 ระยะมีทักษะการทํางานบนพื้นฐานชุมชนและการมีส่วนร่วมมากขึ้น  2. ทักษะการปฏิบัติงานในชุมชน ผู้เรียนทั้งหมดสามารถทํางานเป็นทีม และร่วมกับประชาชน ได้ มีความเข้าใจ และมีเจตคติที่ดีต่อการทํางานชุมชนมากขึ้น สามารถปฏิบัติงานตามวัตถุประสงค์ดีขึ้นกว่าเดิมเกือบทุกกิจกรรม สามารถทำงานบนพื้นฐานของชุมชน และการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนได้  The purpose of this classroom action research was to develop a teaching-learning model for advanced community nursing practice by integrated method emphasizing student centered learning with the storyline method, to develop community nurse skills, community based practical skills, and community participation practical skills. The samples were 8 nursing master's students who registered for Advanced Community Nursing Practice course (101547). The researcher was the course instructor. Public health officers and people in the community were participants in the research. The target community consisted of 70 households of which 299 people were surveyed. The course during the 2nd. semester of the 2004 academic year. The storyline method was the process of teaching used to meet the course objectives. The students used mind maps to summarize their learning after every period of the course. The data collection instruments were observation forms, interview forms, and questionnaires. The participatory observation method was used for data collection. The data was analyzed by content analysis and the Wilcoxon's sign ranks test.  The results of the study are as follows : 1. The Integration of Teaching-Learning Process Development. The development process consisted of 3 cycles : 1) learning about teaching-learning method, 2) developing community approach and community participation skills, and 3) community based practical skills and further community participation skills.  2. The Community Nursing Practical Skills. The students worked as a team and work well with the community. They gained greater understanding and a better attitude toward working with the community. The students met all the course objectives and demonstrated greater ability than almost all the pretest objectives. Improved ability to work based on community resources and community participation.
