Attitudes towards the choices of ideal career and the nursing career

Abstract

          การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา การเปลี่ยนแปลงเจตคติต่อการเลือกเรียนวิชาชีพพยาบาล ภายหลังเข้าร่วมโครงการเมื่อเทียบกับเจตคติต่อการ เลือกเรียนอาชีพในอุดมคติที่ตั้งไว้ของนักเรียนโดย เป็นการศึกษาแบบวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบศึกษา 2 กลุ่ม วัด 2 ครั้ง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เป็นนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่กําลังศึกษาในภาคการเรียนที่ 2 ในโรงเรียนเขตจังหวัดชลบุรีและจังหวัดระยอง ซึ่งได้รับการสุ่มเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมตามลําดับ โรงเรียนในแต่ละจังหวัด จะถูกเลือกมาเป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างจังหวัดละ 5 โรงเรียน โดยเป็นโรงเรียนในเขต อําเภอเมือง 1 แห่ง ใกล้เมือง 2 แห่ง และไกลจากตัวเมือง 2 แห่ง ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง จํานวน 242 คน กลุ่มควบคุม จํานวน 248 คน  กลุ่มทดลองเข้าร่วมโครงการโดยการได้รับ ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิชาชีพพยาบาล ด้วยวิดีทัศน์และการอภิปรายซักถาม รวมใช้เวลานาน 30 นาที ส่วนกลุ่ม ควบคุมไม่ได้เข้าร่วมโครงการ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา การทดสอบไคสแคว์ การทดสอบค่าทีที่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนร่วม  ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ก่อนการเข้าร่วมโครงการ ทั้งกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการ เรียน ประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับวิชาชีพพยาบาล เจตคติต่อการเลือกวิชาชีพพยาบาล และอาชีพในอุดมคติ และ ผลต่างของเจตคติต่อการเลือกเรียนอาชีพในอุดมคติ กับเจตคติต่อการเรียนวิชาชีพพยาบาล ไม่แตกต่างกัน (p>0.05) แต่เนื่องจากก่อนเข้าร่วมโครงการรายได้ ครอบครัวและการคล้อยตามกลุ่มอ้างอิงระหว่างกลุ่ม ทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมแตกต่างกันจึงได้วิเคราะห์ด้วย สถิติความแปรปรวนร่วมเพื่อทดสอบว่ารายได้ครอบครัว การคล้อยตามกลุ่มอ้างอิง และการเข้าร่วมโครงการ จะมีอิทธิพลร่วมกันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงผลต่างของเจตคติต่อการเลือกเรียนอาชีพในอุดมคติ กับเจตคติ ต่อการเลือกเรียนพยาบาลหรือไม่ พบว่ารายได้ ครอบครัวไม่มีอิทธิพลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าว ส่วนการเข้าร่วมโครงการ มีอิทธิพลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง ความแตกต่างของผลต่าง ของเจตคติต่อการเลือกเรียน อาชีพในอุดมคติต่อการเลือกเรียนวิชาชีพ โดยมีการคล้อยตามกลุ่มอ้างอิงเป็นตัวแปรร่วม นั่นคือ การให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวิชาชีพพยาบาลสามารถ เปลี่ยนแปลงเจตคติ ต่อการเลือกวิชาชีพพยาบาลใน เด็กนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายได้ โดยมีการคล้อยตามกลุ่มอ้างอิงเป็นตัวแปรร่วม  The purposes of this study were to compare the change of attitudes towards the choices of ideal careers with the nursing career after the intervention. The design of this study was quasi-experimental using pretest-posttest design with non equivalent groups. The sample was female studnts studying in the 2nd semester of Mathayom 5 in Chonburi and Rayong provinces (experimental and control groups respectively). In each province, 5 schools were selected : 1 urban, 2 suburban, and 2 rural. The subjects comprise 242 in the experimental group, 248 in the control group.  The intervention, a presention of nursing career was delivered to the experimental group by video and discussion. The total presentation was about 30 minutes in length. The control group was not intervened. Data were analyzed by a combination of methods, including descriptive statistics, X2 test, Independent-Samples t-teat and ANCOVA. Results : Before the intervention, there had been no significant differences between the experimental and control groups regarding G.P.A., experiences of nursing, attitude towards the choice of nursing career, attitudes towards the choice of ideal career, and the difference between the attitudes towards the choice of ideal career and the choice of nursing career. However, the family income and the subjective norms were different. After the intervention, the change of difference between attitudes towards the choice of ideal career and the choice of nursing career was analyzed, ANCOVA, treating the family income  and the intervention as the main effect and the subjective norms as the covariance. The results was that the family income did not affect the change of difference between attitudes towards the choice of ideal career and the choice of nursing caerre. However, the intervention and the subjective norms did. In conclusion, the intervention had an impact on the samples' attitudes the choice of nursing career conditioned by the subjective norms.
