Abstract

          ความปวดเป็นอาการที่พบมากที่สุดเป็นอันดับหนึ่งในผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง และเป็นอาการสำคัญที่สร้างความทุกข์ทรมานให้กับผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง ความทุกข์ทรมานที่เกิดขึ้น ก่อให้เกิดผลกระทบทั้งด้านร่างกายจิตใจ สังคมและจิตวิญญาณของผู้ป่วย รวมไปถึงผลกระทบต่อบุคคลใกล้ชิดและครอบครัวของผู้ป่วยด้วย พยาบาลซึ่งอยู่ใกล้ชิดกับผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง ต้องให้ความสำคัญในการจัดการความปวดในผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง ต้องให้ความสำคัญในการจัดการความปวดในผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง เพื่อบรรเทาหรือลดความทุกข์ทรมาน รวมทั้งส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้ให้ได้มากที่สุดเท่าที่จะเป็นได้ การพยาบาลเพื่อจัดการความปวดในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งประกอบด้วย การประเมินความปวด และการจัดการความปวดโดยการประเมินความปวด ประกอบด้วย การประเมินขั้นต้น การประเมินจากผู้ป่วยโดยตรง การตรวจร่างกายและการประเมินผลลัพธ์ ในส่วนการจัดการความปวดแบ่งได้เป็น การจัดการโดยการใช้ยา และการจัดการโดยไม่ใช้ยา การพยาบาลเพื่อจัดการความปวด ถือเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ และเป็นประเด็นท้าทายสำหรับพยาบาล การทำให้เกิดผลลัพธ์ในการจัดการความปวดที่ดี พยาบาลต้องมีความรู้และความเข้าใจทั้งแนวคิดทฤษฎีความปวด การประเมินความปวดแบบครอบคลุม และวิธีการจัดการความปวด          Pain is the most common and significant symptom which is found in cancer patients that cause suffering for them. This suffering affects the patients physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. It also impacts on the patients families and close relatives. Nurses who are close to cancer patients must emphasize the management of their pains in order for them to relieve or reduce suffering as well as enhancing the quality of their life as much as possible. Nursing for pain management in cancer patients consists of pain assessment and pain management. The pain assessment consists of four parts which are initial assessment, patient self-report, physical examination and assessment of outcomes of pain management is divided into pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacological interventions. Nursing for pain management is important and challenging for nurses. In order to achieve effective pain management, nurses need to have knowledge and understanding of the concepts of pain, the comprehensive pain assessment and the method of pain management
