การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อบรรยายประสบการณ์และค้นหาแก่นสาระของประสบการณ์ความกล้าหาญ ทางจริยธรรมของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพตามแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยาเชิงพรรณนาของ Giorgi ซึ่งยึดแนวการศึกษาปรากฏการณ์วิทยาของฮุสเซิร์ล ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในโรงพยาบาลที่เป็น สถานที่ศึกษาของนักศึกษาพยาบาลแห่งหนึ่ง ได้มาจากการคัดเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ผู้ให้ข้อมูลมีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 18 คน ซึ่งเกือบทั้งหมดมีประสบการณ์การปฏิบัติงานในหอผู้ป่วยในไม่น้อยกว่า 5 ปี เก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลตามแนวการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลแบบ Empirical Phenomenological Analysis ของ Giorgi ผลการวิจัยพบว่าประเด็นหลักของประสบการณ์ความกล้าหาญทางจริยธรรมของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ ประกอบด้วยยึดมั่นในหลักการทางจริยธรรม เผชิญหน้าต่อผลลัพธ์ของการกระทำ ดำรงเป้าหมายแห่งจริยธรรม และพฤติกรรม การแสดงออกแบบผู้นำ การศึกษาครั้งนี้ เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาความกล้าหาญทางจริยธรรมของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ โดยการส่งเสริมให้มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจด้านหลักการทางจริยธรรม และความไวทางจริยธรรม เพื่อจัดการกับประเด็นความเสี่ยงทางจริยธรรมในสถานการณ์ทางการพยาบาลได้อย่างเหมาะสม This research objective was to describe and explore the essence of professional nurses’ experiences of moral courage. The qualitative research methodology was based on Giorgi and Husserlians’ descriptive phenomenology. The research informants were 18 professional nurses working at a teaching hospital. Almost all the informants had working experience in the inpatient unit for at least five years. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Giorgis’ empirical phenomenological analysis. The results showed that the lived experiences of moral courage among professional nurses included: 1) Adhering to ethical principles, 2) Facing the consequences of moral action, 3) Upholding moral goals, and 4) Leadership behaviors. The results of this study can be used as general information for developing professional nurses’ moral courage by promoting their understanding of moral principles and sensitivity to appropriately deal with ethical risk issues in critical situations.References
