Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจและวิพากษ์กระบวนทัศน์ การอธิบายทางเลือกเชิงเหตุผล ที่เสนอแนวทางการวิเคราะห์อย่างเป็นทางการ เกี่ยวการตัดสินใจทางสังคมของมนุษย์ว่าเป็นการใช้เหตุผลจากรากฐานชุดของ ความเชื่อและเป้าประสงค์ อันปรากฏในทฤษฎีจำนวนมากทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ เช่น ทฤษฎีเกม (Game Theory) ทฤษฎีความน่าจะเป็น (Probability Theory) และทฤษฎีสินค้าสาธารณะ (Theory of Public Goods) อย่างไรก็ตาม กระบวนทัศน์นี้ยังเป็นที่ถกเถียงในกลุ่มนักสังคมศาสตร์ โดยนักสังคมศาสตร์ จำนวนไม่น้อยมีความคิดว่าวิธีการอธิบายสังคมแบบทางเลือกเชิงเหตุผลทาง เศรษฐกิจ มีความนามธรรมสูงเกินไปสำหรับการอธิบายการกระทำของมนุษย์ ในบริบททางวัฒนธรรมที่มีความแตกต่างกันThis article aim to understand and critique the paradigm of rational choice explanation-proposing the formal analysis of human’s societal decision makings utilizing reasons based on a set of beliefs and proposes. This paradigm appears in various theories of economics, such as; Game theory, probability theory, and theory of public goods. However, this paradigm falls under contests within and between groups of social scientists-especially a number of social scientists believe that the explanation of economic rational choice is too abstract for explanation of human actions living under different cultural contexts.
