ความเป็นประชาธิปไตยในชุมชนชนบทของไทย: ศึกษาชุมชนในแถบลุ่มแม่น้ำบางปะกง

Abstract

          การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการศึกษาที่ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นประชาธิปไตยและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความ-เป็นประชาธิปไตยในชุมชนชนบท บริเวณลุ่มแม่น้ำบาง   ปะกง โดยใช้แนวคิดความเป็น ประชาธิปไตยเป็นกรอบในการศึกษา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความเป็นประชาธิปไตยที่ถูกวัดในมิติวัฒนธรรมทางการเมือง มิติการจัดโครงสร้างทางสังคม และมิติโครงสร้างทางการเมืองนั้น โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความเป็นประชาธิปไตย ประกอบด้วยปัจจัยด้านอาชีพ แหล่งรายได้ รายได้ และการติดตามข่าวสารทางการเมือง           This research is used a quantitative method with the aim to study the democratization and other relevant factors in order to assess the community democratic concept of Bangpakong community. The democratization is applied as the main theoretical framework. The research outcome has found that the cultural democracy in political aspect, social structural management aspect and political structure aspect are overall in the medium level. Other relevant factors in relation to democratization include professional factor, revenue source, income, and the following up of political news.
