การพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาตามความต้องการของนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางออก

Abstract

          การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนา โดยวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ1) ประเมินความต้องการจำเป็นในการใช้บริการ สารสนเทศทางการศึกษาของนักศึกษา 2) วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุของความต้องการจำเป็นในการใช้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาของนักศึกษา 3) วิเคราะห์ศักยภาพของสถาบันในการให้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาบนฐานขององค์ประกอบความต้องการจำเป็น และ 4) พัฒนาระบบการให้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาตามความต้องการจำเป็นแก่นักศึกษา และศักยภาพของสถาบัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาในภาคเรียน ที่ 3 ปีการศึกษา 2553 ในวิทยาลัยเซาธ์อีสท์บางกอก จำนวน 400 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบชั้นภูมิ การดำเนินการวิจัยมี 2 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 ประเมินความต้องการจำเป็นในการใช้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาประกอบด้วย ระบบงานทะเบียนออนไลน์ ระบบสนับสนุนวิชาการ ระบบห้องสมุด ระบบบริการวิชาชีพ และระบบการเงินและทุนการศึกษาเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลคือการสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถามแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ และระยะที่ 2 พัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาตามความต้องการจำเป็นของนักศึกษา โดยสร้างระบบสารสนเทศขึ้นมาทดลองใช้และสำรวจความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาที่ใช้บริการ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติพื้นฐาน วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุ (MANOVA) และใช้ดัชนีจัดลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการ (Priority Needs Index : PNImodified) ส่วนข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา            ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ความต้องการจำเป็นในการใช้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาของนักศึกษา มีความต้องการจำเป็นในระบบบริการวิชาชีพมากที่สุด และระบบที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นน้อยที่สุด คือ ระบบการเงินและทุนการศึกษา 2) ผลการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนพหุของความต้องการจำเป็นในการใช้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษา เปรียบเทียบตามข้อมูลพื้นฐานของนักศึกษาไม่แตกต่างกัน 3) ศักยภาพการให้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษาผู้บริหารมีนโยบายโดยคำนึงถึงความพร้อมทางด้านอุปกรณ์สำหรับการใช้งานและการให้บริการนักศึกษา ตลอดจนความสามารถของนักศึกษาในการใช้งานระบบสารสนเทศที่มีอยู่ และมีการพัฒนาระบบการให้บริการนักศึกษาออนไลน์ตามแนวนโยบายของวิทยาลัยที่จะพัฒนาให้มีการใช้ระบบ Information and Communication Technology : ICT มากขึ้น และ 4) ผลการพัฒนาระบบการให้บริการสารสนเทศทางการศึกษา พบว่า มีความพึงพอใจต่อระบบสารสนเทศโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีความพึงพอใจสูงสุดด้านการใช้งาน รองลงมาเป็นด้านข้อมูลสารสนเทศ และด้านการออกแบบการใช้งาน ตามลำดับ            This is a research and development document conducted for the purposes: 1. to analyses the potential of the Institute to extend educational information to students on the basis of the elements needed; 2. to use multivariate Analysis of Variance of the requirements needed to use information technology to educate students; 3. to evaluate the requirements necessary to use information technology in the education of students and 4. to provide information on system development to meet the demands of the student body. The research was performed by a group of students during semester 3 academic year 2553 (2010) in the University of Bangkok Southeast. The sample consisted of 400 people which were obtained by random sampling from a class chart.            The research operations consisted of two phases. Phase 1 involved an evaluation of the requirements necessary in the use of information technology in educational services. Tools that were used in collecting information were the interview method. The questions were arranged according to queries – level 5. Phase 2 involved information on system development and information technology for services in accordance to the needs of the students. The new information system was done by conducting a survey of student satisfaction with services they received from the institution. Analysis of data was done using basic statistics such as Multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA) and using an index ranking the importance of the demand (Priority Needs Index : PNImodified). Data from the interviews were subjected to a content analysis.            The research has revealed that: 1. There is a need to use information technology to educate students. Secondary to this is also the need to provide professional service to best meet the students’ needs. The minimum requirement for the system is the online registration system.Also, an effective financial system and scholarships would best serve the students most efficiently. 2. The results of the analysis of variance, multiple descriptors of the need proved that in order to use information technology to educate students, a minimum level of intelligence is necessary. Comparison on the basis of the students services do not differ at a level. 3. The Institute possesses the potential to respond to educational services demanded for by the students. The policy guidelines on information technology established by the management of the College were strong enough to prevail on meeting the needs of the students. The administrators and personnel also used pertinent knowledge in operating devices necessary for information systems. The existing infrastructure of the College was utilized to develop the service system for college students. To comply with the guidelines of the College policy, a system of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) was developed within the College. 4. The results of the development of the service system of information technology for the education of students were found to be satisfactory obtained from a survey of student users. The samples were all in agreement that the use of information was maximized and were effectively designed and implemented.
