ความอยู่ดีมีสุขของผู้สูงอายุกับการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมในอำเภอแปลงยาว จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา

Abstract

          การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมในชุมชนอันเนื่องมาจากการพัฒนา อุตสาหกรรมในอำเภอแปลงยาว จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา 2) ศึกษาความอยู่ดีมีสุขของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้เขตนิคมอุตสาหกรรมและชุมชนที่ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากเขตนิคมอุตสาหกรรม และ3) วิเคราะห์ผลกระทบของการเปลี่ยนแปลง ทางสังคมต่อความอยู่ดีมีสุขของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน การศึกษาดำเนินตามแนวทางการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ทำการเก็บ รวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยกรณีศึกษา การสังเกต และการสัมภาษณ์ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา การสังเคราะห์และการตีความ          ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แต่เดิมอำเภอแปลงยาวเกือบทั้งหมดเป็นพื้นที่เกษตรกรรม การสร้างนิคมอุตสาหกรรม ในพื้นที่ ส่งผลให้ชุมชนที่ตั้งใกล้นิคมอุตสาหกรรมพัฒนาไปสู่ความเป็นเมือง ความสัมพันธ์ของสมาชิกครัวเรือนและชุมชนลดลง ในขณะชุมชนที่ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากเขตนิคมอุตสาหกรรมพอสมควร วิถีการดำเนินชีวิตของคนในชุมชนยังคง ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงมากนัก สมาชิกของทั้งสองชุมชนมีการให้ความหมายความอยู่ดีมีสุขของผู้สูงอายุใกล้เคียงกัน การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรม ส่งผลอย่างชัดเจนต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีการดำเนินชีวิตและความอยู่ดีมีสุขของผู้สูงอายุใน ชุมชนที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้นิคมอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งแตกต่างกันกับในชุมชนที่อยู่ห่างจากนิคม โดยมีเงื่อนไขด้านการเข้าถึง ทรัพยากรด้านต่าง ๆ วิถีการดำรงชีพของสมาชิกครอบครัวและผู้สูงอายุ ตลอดจนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุกับ สมาชิกในครอบครัว เข้ามาเกี่ยวข้องอย่างสำคัญ           The objectives of this research were: 1) to investigate social changes in communities led by industrial development in Plaeng Yao district, Chachoengsao province; 2) to examine wellbeing of elderly people in 2 communities located near and far from an industrial estate; and 3) to analyze impacts of the social changes on the well-being of elderly people in the selected communities. The study was conducted following the qualitative research approach in which data were collected through case studies, observation and informal interview. Data analysis was done by means of content analysis, data synthesis and interpretation.          The research results reveal that in the past Plaeng Yao district was predominantly agricultural area. The construction of an industrial estate in the area leads to the change towards urbanization in a selected community where the estate is located. Relationships among family members and community members are declined. This is contrast to the situation another selected community located considerably far from the real estate in which members’ mode of living remains insignificantly changed. Members of both communities define wellbeing of elderly people in the same way. Industrial development brings about significant changes in the mode of living and wellbeing of elderly people in the community near the real estate which are different from those in another community locate far from the estate. The changes are conditioned by their access to various resources, livelihood strategy of them and family members, as well as their relationship with family members.
