การสร้างสรรค์ศิลปกรรม : กระแสวัตถุนิยมกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางพฤติกรรมในสังคม

Abstract

มนุษย์ให้ความสำคัญกับวัตถุเป็นอย่างมาก วัตถุและเครื่องอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆ นับวันยิ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อ พฤตกิรรมมนุษย์มากขึ้น การมุ่งหาความสุขใส่ตนรักความสบาย อยากมีชื่อเสียงให้ความสำคัญด้านวัตถุมากกว่าจิตใจ การสะสม วัตถุยิ่งมีมากเท่าใดยิ่งเป็นสิ่งที่บ่งบอกถึงฐานะทางสังคมได้ สร้างกระแสให้เกิดความต้องการไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด จึงเกิดเป็นพฤติกรรม ที่เคยชินจนลืมความต้องการที่แท้จริง พฤตกิรรมเหลา่นี้ แสดงออกมาทางบุคลิกลักษณะท่าทางในการส่ือสาร ทำให้เกิด เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ศิลปกรรม : กระแสวัตถุนิยมกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางพฤติกรรมในสังคม การวิจัยนี้มี วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อต้องการนำเสนอแนวคิดในภาพศิลปะการจัดวาง (Installation art) ระหว่างชีวิตและวัตถุเพื่อสะท้อน ค่านิยมทางสังคมโดยการแทนค่า การสร้างรูปทรงของวัตถุ เครื่องประดับที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันและใช้เทคนิคที่หลากหลาย สร้างรูปทรงแต่งเติมด้วยสัญลักษณ์ต่าง ๆ ที่มนุษย์ให้ความสำคัญ เพื่อแสดงถึงกระแสวัตถุนิยมด้วยการถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ ความรู้สึกผ่านแนวความคิดเพื่อสื่อความรู้สึกถึงการล้อเลียนPeople has been obsessively focused on material and objects. Machines and technology has played important role in everyday life. Materialism has slowly impacted human behaviors. People heavily rely on technology and become more lazy without realizing it. Further, Personal happiness has become the main focus in life. Convenience and popularity are far more valuable than a good conscience. The more famous you are, the more money you have, will dictate your status in the society. The greed has created new norms which directly reflect on our behaviors. They obviously display through how we think, act, and communicate. These norms has shaped today’s society as well as influences the creation of arts. The purpose of this research is to present the impacts of materialism to human behaviors through a concept called “Installation Art”, an artistic work that designed to transform the perception of life and objects. An ordinary material like steel wire is used to create this focal piece. Different techniques have been applied to construct and imitate shapes of common objects that are used in everyday life such as clothes and accessories. Ultimately, distinctive details have been added to magnify and emphasize the effects of materialism on our emotions and souls.
