สภาวะความเปลี่ยนแปลงกายและจิตของสตรี : ความรู้สึกจากวัสดุเส้นใยธรรมชาติ

Abstract

          การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการแสดงออกของศิลปะเส้นใยที่แสดงแนวคิด และความรู้สึกเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาวะกายและจิตของสตรี โดยการหาเอกลักษณ์ของเส้นใยธรรมชาติของฟางข้าวและกากอ้อยในการสร้างงานศิลปะ รูปแบบการศึกษาเป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยทำการศึกษาและทดลองเส้นใยของฟางข้าวและกากอ้อย เพื่อหาคุณสมบัติคุณลักษณะ และคุณค่าของเส้นใยที่เหมาะสมในการขึ้นรูปชิ้นงาน โดยหลักการวิเคราะห์ทัศนธาตุทางศิลปะและการนำวัสดุที่เป็นผลจากการทดลองไปใช้ในการสร้างงานศิลปะ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเส้นใยฟางข้าวมีความหมายถึง พืชที่หล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตมนุษย์ มีความเป็นเพศหญิงและเป็นมิตร เมื่อทำการวิเคราะห์เส้นใยซึ่งมีสีเหลืองทอง แบ่งเป็น ๒ ระดับได้คือ เส้นใยหยาบที่มีความหนาและบางก็ให้ความรู้สึกที่แตกต่างกัน และเส้นใยละเอียดที่ทำการทุบ ตำ ปั่น ทำให้ลักษณะเส้นใยและการประสานตัวต่างกัน ส่วนของเส้นใยกากอ้อยพบว่าความรู้สึกที่ได้คือ ค่าน้ำหนักของสีมีความอ่อนซึ่งขัดแย้งกับคุณลักษณะของเยื่อที่มีความแข็ง เส้นใยแตกหักง่าย และคม เมื่อทำการวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบ ความรู้สึกจะให้ความรู้สึกจากการให้สีที่นุ่มนวล ดูโปร่ง หยาบ ด้วยพื้นผิวที่ไม่ค่อยเป็นระเบียบของเส้นใย แสดงความรู้สึกอิสระและดูมีความไม่แน่นอนกว่าเส้นใยจากฟางข้าว จากผลการทดลองดังกล่าววัสดุทั้งสองจะถูกนำไปสู่กระบวนการและกรรมวิธีในการสร้างงานศิลปะต่อไป            The purpose of this study aims to propose the expression of fiber art to define the state of physical and mental changes of women by analyzing the use of rice straw fiber and sugar-cane fiber (bagasse) to create artwork. This study is qualitative research by reviewing and experimenting with both types of fibers to explore the properties, characteristics, and appropriate value for forming the work piece. Also, the study analyzes the principle visual elements and uses the results of experimentation to determine the material to create the artwork. The results reveal that rice straw has a yellow-gold color, and because rice serves as the major source of food for human beings, it is included that rice straw represents femininity and friendliness. According to the fiber analysis, there are two levels of fiber as: (1) Crude Fiber with thick and thin emitting different feelings, and (2) Fine Fiber derived from crushing, grinding, and slicing, thereby giving the fiber different characteristics and influencing the synchronization of the fiber. Moreover, sugar-cane fiber (bagasse) gives off a feeling of light color, which contrasts with the features of the solid membrane itself. Also the fiber is easy to break and sharp. As a result of the comparative analysis, it is concluded that sugar-cane fiber (bagasse) conveys more emotion than rice straw fiber because of its soft color, transparency and rough surface with unidirectional fiber orientation, thereby expressing freedom and uncertainty. Based upon the experimental results, both materials are brought into the process and the method to create the artwork.
