การศึกษามโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์ของนิสิตวิชาเอกคณิตศาสตร์

Abstract

            การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษามโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์ของนิสิตวิชาเอกคณิตศาสตร์ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนิสิตสาขาการสอนคณิตศาสตร์ ชั้นปีที่ 1-4 คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาที่ศึกษาในปีการศึกษา 2556 จำนวน 148 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบวัดมโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นโดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.9331 และแบบสัมภาษณ์เพื่อศึกษาเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับมโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตวิชาเอกคณิตศาสตร์ส่วนใหญ่ (ร้อยละ 37.55) มีมโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์อยู่ในกลุ่มที่ 3 กล่าวคือ นิสิตสามารถตอบคำถามถูกต้องอย่างสมบูรณ์โดยการอธิบายมีการอ้างอิงความรู้และความสัมพันธ์เชิงมโนทัศน์ทางคณิตศาสตร์สนับสนุนคำตอบบ้างแต่ไม่ชัดเจน หรือสามารถตอบคำถามถูกต้องอย่างสมบูรณ์ แต่การอธิบายใช้การอ้างอิงความรู้เชิงขั้นตอนหรือกระบวนการทางคณิตศาสตร์มาสนับสนุนคำตอบอย่างเป็นเหตุเป็นผล            The purpose of this research was to study mathematical concepts of mathematics major students. The research populations were 148 of first year to fourth year students majoring in mathematics at Faculty of Education, Burapha University. The research instruments were a test of mathematical concepts having a reliability of 0.9331 and an interview. The research findings revealed that the mathematical concepts of the majority of the populations (37.55%) were classified into group 3 that students could answer the questions correctly but they raised mathematical concepts with unclear explanation to support their answer, of the students could answer the questions correctly and to support their answer with procedural knowledge logically.
