การศึกษาความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง สถิติ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ในจังหวัดชลบุรี

Abstract

          การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์เรื่อง สถิติ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ในจังหวัดชลบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 185 คน  ของโรงเรียน ชลบุรี “สุขบท” โรงเรียนชลกันยานุกูล โรงเรียนชลราษฎรอำรุง โรงเรียนเมรี่อิมมาคุเลตคอนแวนต์ และโรงเรียนวุฒิวิทยา ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบวัด ความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง สถิติ โดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.844 และแบบสัมภาษณ์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีความสามารถในการให้เหตุผลทางคณิตศาสตร์  เรื่องสถิติ อยู่ในกลุ่มที่ 3 มากที่สุด (ร้อยละ 30.66) กล่าวคือ นักเรียนตอบถูกต้องและมีการแสดงเหตุผลแต่เหตุผลที่แสดงนั้นถูกต้องสอดคล้องกับคำตอบและข้อมูลเพียงบางส่วน หรือนักเรียนตอบไม่ถูกต้องหรือตอบ ถูกต้องบางส่วน แต่มีการแสดงเหตุผลซึ่งเหตุผลที่แสดงนั้นถูกต้อง สมบูรณ์ สอดคล้องกับคำตอบและข้อมูล          The purpose of the study was to study of mathematical reasoning on statistics for Grade 9 students in Chonburi Province. The research samples were 185 Grade 9 students in Chonburi Sukkhabot School, Chonkanyanukoon School, Chonradsadornumrung School, Mary Immaculate Convent School and Wutthi Witthaya School. They were randomly selected by using multi-statge random sampling. The research instruments were a test of mathematical reasoning on statistics with reliability of 0.844 and an interview. The research findings revealed that mathematical reasoning on statistics of Grade 9 students were mostly classified into group three (30.66%). That is the students were able to answer the questions correctly but they gave mathematical reasoning with partially correct explanations to support their answers, or the students gave incorrect or partially correct answers but the mathematical reasoning given to support their answers were correct.
