การเปลี่ยนแปลงทัศนคติที่มีต่อวิชาชีพการสาธารณสุขของนิสิต คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา

Abstract

          การสาธารณสุขไทยมีการปรับเปลี่ยนและพัฒนาเป็นระยะ จากอดีตถึงปัจจุบันที่มีพระราชบัญญัติวิชาชีพ ทำให้นักสาธารณสุขมีความมั่นคงในวิชาชีพ นิสิตนักศึกษาที่เรียนในสาขาสาธารณสุขนี้ จึงต้องมีการ  ปรับเปลี่ยนกระบวนทัศน์ ตามการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้น การศึกษานี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงคเ์ พื่อประเมินทัศนคติและการเปลี่ยนแปลงทัศนคติที่มีต่อวิชาชีพการสาธารณสุขของนิสิต คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัย  บูรพา กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนิสิตหลักสูตรการสาธารณสุขชุมชน 228 คน ชั้นปีที่ 1-4 ที่กำลังศึกษาในปีการศึกษา  2560 เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบวัดทัศนคติเชิงความรู้ ทักษะ ความรู้สึก และทัศนคติโดยรวมโดยคำถามมีค่าความเที่ยงตามวิธีสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของคอนบราค (Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient) 0.86, 0.83,  0.74 และ 0.87 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย One sample t - test และการวิเคราะห์ ความแปรปรวน          ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นิสิตมีทัศนคติต่อวิชาชีพการสาธารณสุขเชิงบวก (p<.05) ทั้ง 3 ด้าน และ ทัศนคติโดยรวม โดยทัศนคติเชิงทักษะมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด (ค่าเฉลี่ย %=87.4) รองลงมาคือทัศนคติเชิงความรู้ (ค่าเฉลี่ย %= 84.8) และทัศนคติเชิงความรู้สึก (ค่าเฉลี่ย %=68.8) และพบว่านิสิตแต่ละชั้นปีมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงทัศนคติอย่างชัดเจน โดยเฉพาะทัศนคติเชิงความรู้สึก ที่นิสิตชั้นปี 1 มีทัศนคติดีกว่านิสิตชั้นปี 2, ชั้นปีที่ 3 และชั้นปีที่ 4 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.05) สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า นิสิตมีทัศนคติต่อวิชาชีพที่ดี ลดลง เมื่อเรียนในชั้นปีที่สูงขึ้น จึงควรมีการส่งเสริมความเข้าใจในวิชาชีพ เพื่อให้นิสิตมีรักษาทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวิชาชีพการสาธารณสุขในทุกชั้นปี           The public health in Thailand has undergone gradual changes and improvement. The Public Health Profession Practitioner Act of 2013 has given the public health practitioners professional security. Students enrolled in the public health program of study had to understand the paradigm shift in this evolution. This study was aimed to explore the attitudes and the changing professional attitudes of the public health students of Burapha University. The subjects included 228 community public health students enrolled in the academic year 2016, and were in the first, second, third, and fourth year of study. The data were collected with the questionnaire based on the ABC model of attitudes with the Cronbach’s alpha of 0.86, 0.83, 0.74 and 0.87, respectively. Statistical analyses were described interns of percentage, mean, one sample t-test, and analysis of variance. The results revealed that students had the positive attitude toward the public health profession (p <.05). The highest score was the behavioral component (average% = 87.4) followed by the cognitive component (average% = 84.8) and the lowest score was the affective component (average% = 68.8). The attitudes of the students had changed explicitly, especially the affective component. The first year students’ attitude toward the profession was significantly higher than that of the second, third and fourth year students (p <.05). The results indicated that students had a decrease in the favorable attitudes toward the profession, therefore, a continuous promotion of a good understanding of public health professionals should be encouraged.
