Abstract

บทคัดย่อบทความนี้ต้องการตรวจสอบองค์ความรู้และแนวคิดทฤษฎีทางมานุษยวิทยาในการศึกษาความเชื่อสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ อำนาจเหนือธรรมชาติ ผี และวิญญาณโดยชี้ให้เห็นว่านักมานุษยวิทยาไทยอธิบายความเชื่อสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ในภายใต้กระบวนทัศน์โครงสร้างหน้าที่ ซึ่งยังมองความเชื่อในฐานะเป็นเครื่องมือที่จะทำให้ชุมชนอยู่ในกฎระเบียบและเสถียรภาพ ในขณะที่แนวคิดทฤษฎีทางมานุษยวิทยาในระดับสากลได้ข้ามพ้นไปสู่การวิเคราะห์ความเชื่อสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่สัมพันธ์กับอำนาจและความรู้ที่มนุษย์นำมาต่อรองเพื่อสร้างตัวตนทางสังคมAbstractThis paper aims to investigate the body of knowledge and theoretical concepts in anthropology explaining the animism, supernaturalism, and spirits. It is found that Thai anthropologists have still studied the animistic beliefs in structural-functional paradigm that analyzes animism as a medium to stabilize the social order. However, the present anthropological studies in global arena have turned to realize the animistic beliefs in association of power and knowledge in which human agent negotiate in their reconstruction of social subjects.
