การประเมินผลจากการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษของสถาบันสอนภาษาแบลิทซ์ สาขาสยามพารากอน โดยใช้รูปแบบการประเมินผลของเคิร์กแพทริค

Evaluation of English Language Program at Berlitz Siam Paragon using Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model

Abstract

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (๑) ประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ของผู้จบหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษของสถาบันสอนภาษาแบลิทซ์ (๒) เปรียบเทียบผลการเรียนรู้ของผู้จบหลักสูตรจำแนกตามตัวแปลลักษณะส่วนบุคคล (๓) เปรียบเทียบผลการเรียนรู้ของผู้จับหลักสูตรจำแนกตามหลักสูตรที่เลือกเรียน และ (๔) เสนอแนะแนวทางในการจัดการเรียนการสอนให้มีประสิทธิผลสูงขึ้น และเสนอแนะการจัดการเรียนการสอนที่ตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้เรียน ประชากรที่ทำการศึกษา คือ ผู้ลงทะเบียนเรียนภาษาอังกฤษกับสถาบันสอนภาษาแบลิทซ์ สาขาสยามพารากอนในระหว่างปี ๒๕๔๙ ถึง ๒๕๕๒ จำนวน ๖๖๐ คน การเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้การเลือกแบบเจาะจงตามวัตถุประสงค์ คือ ผู้จบหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษที่มีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานและเป็นคนไทยจำนวน ๑๒๔ คน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ คือ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติทดสอบแบบที และแบบเอฟ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (๑) การประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ของผู้จบหลักสูตรใน ๔ ด้าน คือ ปฏิกิริยาตอบสนอง การเรียนรู้ พฤติกรรม และผลลัพธ์ อยู่ในระดับดี (๒) พบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างลักษณะส่วนบุคคลด้านเพศ และตำแหน่งงานกับผลการประเมินอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .๐๕ (๓) ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์ของหลักสูตรที่เลือกเรียนกับผลการประเมิน (๔) พบความสัมพันธ์ของลักษณะส่วนบุคคลด้านตำแหน่งงานกับผลการประเมิน ซึ่งสถาบันควรใช้ตำแหน่งหน้าที่การงาน หรืออาชีพ เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษต่อไป  The objectives of this research ere to: (1) study evaluation outcomes of the English language learners at Berlitz Siam Paragon; (2) compare learning outcomes to personal characteristics; (3) compare learning outcomes to curriculum chosen; (4) suggest guideline to improve learning outcomes and to develop English programs more suited to the needs of learners. The population for this study was 660 registered students who had completed an English program at Berlitz Siam Paragon during 2006-2009. The samples were selected according to the study’s objectives which consisted of 124 Thai learners who had work experience and had completed an English program during that period. Statistical analysis used were frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, t-test, and F-test. The results of the research were: (1) overall learning evaluation results comprising 4 aspects: reaction, learning, behavior, and result were at the good level; (2) relationships between sex and work position of learners and learning outcomes were found at the statistical level of .05; (3) relationships between differences in curriculum chosen and learning outcomes were not found; (4) research results had shown relationships between job positions/ occupations of learners and evaluation results, thus, Berlitz should develop new courses tailored to serve more of these needs.
