Cross – Culture Leadership: Excellence Leadership for Professional School Principals

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอสาระสําคัญของภาวะผู้นําข้ามวัฒนธรรมสําหรับผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาไทยมืออาชีพ สาระของบทความครอบคลุม 4 ประเด็นคือ (1) สถานการณ์ที่ก่อให้เกิดภาวะผู้นําข้าม วัฒนธรรม (2) องค์ประกอบสําคัญภาวะผู้นําข้ามวัฒนธรรม (3) มิติของภาวะผู้นําข้ามวัฒนธรรม และ (4) ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษามืออาชีพกับภาวะผู้นําข้ามวัฒนธรรม เน้นให้ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาเตรียมความพร้อมผู้เรียน ให้สามารถทำงานและดำรงชีพในสากลได้ โดยต้องสามารถบริหารและจัดการศึกษาบนความแตกต่างและหลากหลายของคณะครู อาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และผู้เรียนที่มีที่มา วัฒนธรรม เชื้อชาติ สัญชาติ ศาสนา และพื้นฐานการ ศึกษาเดิม ด้วยการสร้างภาวะผู้นําข้ามวัฒนธรรม (Cross-Culture Leadership) ที่ประกอบด้วย ความไว้วางใจหรือความเชื่อใจ (Trust) การเอาใจใส่ (Empathy) การเปลี่ยนแปลง (Transformation) อำนาจ (Power) และการสื่อสาร (Communication) คือสิ่งสําคัญที่ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาต้องมีเพื่อการเผชิญหน้าและแก้ไขปัญหา ความขัดแย้งความแตกต่างของวัฒนธรรม  The objective of this article was to present a significance of cross-culture leadership for Thai professional school principals. The article cover 4 topics were: (1) the situations cause cross-culture leadership (2) cross-culture leadership elements (3) cross-culture leadership dimensions (4) cross-culture leadership for professional school principals. It focuses on professional school principals who exactly have to prepare learner for future interactions in a culturally diverse workplace. To success, they must create cross-culture leadership in order to be able to manage and handle their institutions under the differences in nationality, race, religion and cultural including the background in their educations. The cross-culture leadership consists of trust, empathy, transformation, power and communication. This is an important and accurate tool for facing and solving cross-cultural conflict.
